This was the soundtrack to Disco 2000, a fiction anthology set in the last hours of 1999. The sci-fi - voodoo - chemical stories were complemented by strange and twisted tunes that fused f**ked up funk, hip hop and big beat with disco and spacey drum 'n' bass.
It captured the apocalyptic vibe of electronic music at the end of the twentieth century. A pre-millennial backing track for hedonism, insanity, religious mania, future technology, bombing runs, suicide cults, media conspiracy, time travel and chemical excess. Celebrate the mutant eclectism of the last days...
